Keeping It Hardcore

With Powerbar on their side fueling some hardcore training days and even more solid races, the Wattie Ink. Elite team has been rocking the beginning of the 2013 season hard no matter what debauchery is thrown at them… or they throw at themselves. Read on…

New England Wattie Inker Dave Dabrosca hasn’t let a little, or a lot, of snow get in his way of training. With a little help from some YakTrax strapped on to his K-Swiss kicks, he managed one hilly and icy training run this past weekend. Aside from dodging a couple of falling trees (gotta keep things interesting) he totally rocked it out!

With an opportunity to give back while training, Caldwell Clarke opted for some indoor cycling at a charity spin benefiting ALS and the Blazeman Foundation. Of course charity events are never races, except for when they are… and Caldwell won this race by totaling 55.7 miles in 179 mins, 8+ miles more than anyone else!

The group that really took the cake this weekend was our Southwest duo SherriAnne Nelson and Redfield Baum (along with a friend rounding out their team) rocking the Ragnar Del Sol 200 mile ultra race. Generally run as a 12 person relay, these 3 rockstars pushed it to the limits to rock out this grueling two day race.
