Wattie Ink. Athlete Heather Jackson 4th at REV3 QUASSY

(Middlebury, Connecticut) – Fresh off her win at the Avia Wildflower Triathlon, Heather Jackson headed East to face another tough course and World-Class field at the REV3 Quassy event in Middlebury, Connecticut.

Jackson struggled early in the race with the non-wetsuit swim, and once out of the water and onto the bike she had her work cut out for her with the other race favorites of Heather Wurtele, Mirinda Carfrae, Kelly Willamson and Angela Naeth already up the road.

Into T2, Jackson had still not closed the gap on Wurtele, Naeth and Cafrae, who had all put themselves into position for the win with Jackson and Willamson in chase about 3-4 minutes off the lead.

At the end of the day, it was Carfrae coming up with the win over Wurtele and Neath who put up a great fight throughout the day.  Jackson, not having her best day, held on for a respectable 4th place.
