(San Diego, CA) Wattie Ink. Athlete, American Ben Hoffman will kick off his 2012 season in South America at the Ironman 70.3 Pucon event this weekend.
Talking about starting his 2012 season early, Hoffman explained, “There aren’t many reasons not to start my season in Pucon. It is one of the coolest venues on the Ironman circuit and, since I could not influence the hemispheres to produce a summer during our winter, I am heading down this week. It is really a special place with an incredible race crew, unbeatable views and a tremendously supportive community. It is still too early for me to be at my best, but it will be a great shock to the system to blow out the cobwebs and get me ready for 2012.”
