(Boise, Idaho) – Heather Jackson, coming off a solid 5th place finish against a stacked REV3 Quassy professional women’s field, landed in Boise yesterday with her sights set on moving up the podium at the Ironman 70.3 Boise event to be held this Saturday.
At last year’s event here in Boise, Jackson placed 3rd overall behind Lindsey Corbin and Trek/K-Swiss Teammate Julie Dibens, who won the event. Jackson is back this season looking to better her 3rd place finish from last season, which won’t come easy considering she will have had just 5 short recovery days since last weekend’s effort at the REV3 Quassy event.
“Last year, I just really fell in love with the event, the city and its culture. I met some awesome people and made some great friends during my stay and so I really wanted to get back and take in the Boise lifestyle this week. I love the course and the way the community embraces the event. I’m feeling fit and looking forward to testing myself against a field of great women.” – said Jackson.
